You analyze the current market situation as well as competitors in the meter environment as part of a student project group. You evaluate new technologies (e.g. LPWAN, CIoT or antenna solutions) and derive insights. You develop a concept for a prototypical structure, support practical implementation and work closely with the specialist departments. You check requirements by laboratory and field measurements and document the results technically and structured. Possible focal points of your final work are the evaluation of technologies in the meter environment, in particular integrated antenna solutions, LPWAN / CIoT technologies and the evaluation of commercial antenna tuners for multiband applications.

You study electrical engineering, communications technology or a comparable field of expertise. You have basic knowledge in electronics. You already have basic knowledge regarding high-frequency technology. You know about word processing, such as Word or LaTeX. You have optimally first experiences in handling schematics and electromagnetic simulations.
