Technical and disciplinary leadership of the Export Control team including further development of employees and processes Ensuring compliance with national and international export control requirements, in particular according to AWG, KWKG, EU dual-use regulation and relevant US regulations

Strategic consulting of the management and the departments in export control issues

Responsibility for approval and notification procedures to authorities, in particular BAFA and other national or international bodies

Development and monitoring of an effective Internal Compliance Program (ICP) in the field of export control

Assessment and approval of national and international operations, projects, deliveries and cooperations under export control

Control internal risk analyses and measures to ensure legal processes

Representation of the company to authorities, customers, partners and external audit bodies in all issues of export control

Successful degree in economic law, law, business management, safety management, engineering or comparable qualification

Multiannual professional experience in export control, ideally within the defence, security or technology industry

Knowledge of German, European and international export control law including arms goods law

Experience in the leadership of teams and in the control of complex organisational processes

Embossed understanding of technical products and safety-relevant relationships

High communication and consulting competence in handling management, authorities and departments

Structured, analytical and solution-oriented working with a high sense of responsibility

Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing as well as willingness to occasional missions
