Lead future-proof network transformation by challenging existing setups and initiating new operating models, including innovative and greenfield approaches Shape future network concepts, capability standards and frameworks (incl. roadmaps, best practices, and governance for a future-ready network) Drive supplier and capability development roadmaps from concept through execution to close capability gaps and enable scalability Own end-to-end supplier performance and governance (quality, delivery reliability, cost efficiency, responsiveness), defining KPI frameworks and enabling corrective and preventive actions Support network footprint expansion and develop new supplier opportunities aligned with strategic and technical requirements Lead contracting and commercial steering (framework agreements and settlements) to secure sustainable performance and constructive partnership Act as key cross-functional interface across Workshop Management, Technical Operations, Maintenance and Sales & Service, ensuring alignment with operational and customer needs Identify operational, capacity and supply chain risks and lead transformation initiatives that enhance network resilience and flexibility
Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field Min. 8 years of experience in supplier development/management, network management/operations or technical procurement/purchasing within an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably in the rail industry Proven track record in improving supplier performance and delivering measurable business impact Strong experience in contract negotiation, stakeholder management and cross-projectfunctional execution Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels Strong analytical mindset and structured approach to problem-solving fluency in English; another European language is a plus Willingness to travel
