Focus Personaldienstleistungen GmbH – NL Gera provides qualified professionals (m/w/d) to regional companies. We are now looking for experienced MIG welders (m/w/d) for project and/or regional specific support of our customer companies as part of the transfer of employees in the Gera and the surrounding area.

Task area / General tasks

• Operation, installation and execution of welding work in the MIG/MAG process according to work instructions and technical drawings.
• Pre- and post-processing of weld seams: visual inspection, cleaning of the components, deburring and finishing (painting, smoothing).
• adjustment of welding parameters, selection of wire, gas types and clamping devices; Adaptation to material quality and wall thicknesses.
• Bars of welding equipment, replacement of consumables (wire, nozzles, contact pins) and maintenance of equipment.
• reading and interpreting technical drawings, lists and work plans; Dissipation of welding points and NA tolerances.
• Implementation of quality tests (sight test, if necessary low-destructive tests, samples) and documentation of the measurement results.
• Safe handling of materials, tools and equipment; Compliance with safety regulations (PSA, occupational safety).
• independent work organization, schedule and documentation of relevant production data; Notification of deviations.
• Cooperation in the team, willingness to work shifts depending on the application plan (spring/spring/in/outside layers).
• Participation in maintenance, cleaning and order of welding area and accessories

Requirements / Qualifications

• Complete training in welding or comparable professional experience in MIG welding (e.g. welding specialist).
• Finded MIG welding skills, ideally certificates (e.g. according to EN 9606-1)
• Basic knowledge reading of technical drawings; safe handling of measuring means for testing seams (rough values, fittings)
• Good team and communication skills; independent, structured working; Quality awareness
• physical loadability; Willingness to shift work (breakfast/night shift/ weekend depending on customer company)
• driving licence class B of advantage (depending on the location of use)
• German in word and writing
