You can do more with us: As a Data Engineer (m/w/d), you take a key role in the development and optimization of our data-driven processes. You create innovative solutions for ETL/ELT, data pipelines and machine learning models – in a state-of-the-art cloud environment. Description You design and develop ETL/ELT processes and ensure high performance data processing and analysis You build and operate data pipelines that deliver real-time data and support teams in the development of data-driven products (personalization, recommendations, tracking) You develop interfaces to external systems and ensure reliable integration of new data sources (e.g. REST APIs, Google Analytics) You automate test and deployment processes of data models, ETL jobs and machine learning applications Take care of infrastructure components for big data and streaming technologies (e.g. ClickHouse, Kinesis) and ensure their high availability and efficiency You are responsible for ensuring high data quality and developing measures to continuously optimize systems You work on the development and integration of machine learning models to support our personalization and recommendation systems You are an active part of our DevOps team and take responsibility as part of the readiness You document technical processes and ensure transparency and traceability of all data processes

At least 3 years of professional experience as a data engineer or in the field of interface development and data integration Funded knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, SQL (PostgreSQL), NoSQL databases and workflow management (e.g. Airflow) Extensive experience in handling BigQuery, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and real-time tracking technologies Big Data, Streaming (e.g. ClickHouse, Kinesis) and Personalization Technologies Experience in training and production of machine learning models Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (ideally Terraform) and safe handling of Linux systems Outstanding analytical skills, problem-solving competence and communication strength Target-oriented working, agile mindset and joy at work in the team
