Number: MER0003WSY Plane and shape the hearts of our cars with us in Untertürkheim: high-quality and pioneering drive systems for all Mercedes-Benz Cars. Our Team 'Control Cooperation Projects Motors & HV Hybrid Systems' coordinates the portfolio of Mercedes Benz Cars hybrid drives as well as the associated HV batteries and transmissions and controls international cooperation projects in the engine environment. As part of the internship, you will accompany hybrid drive projects as well as engine cooperation projects in various phases of the product development process and beyond, from project start to development to market launch and support in the series. By working with different departments of the Group, such as vehicle and powertrain development, sales, controlling, quality, production, purchasing, etc., you will get an excellent overview of the interaction of the areas in the company. You participate in strategic and operational planning and help with the realization of the Mercedes-Benz Cars drive portfolio. Our team acts as a central interface between drive and vehicle projects and ensures in the international environment with our colleagues in China and the USA that the requirements of all sides are coordinated and the achievement of the drive goals are met.

These challenges include: Preparation of technology decisions for hybrid drive systems and batteries

Identification of technical requirements in cooperation with the development project management

ripeness tracking within the development process of drive projects

Coordination of special processes for identified target deviations

Preparation of product decisions and decision templates for management meetings

Organisation of weekly project managers meeting

Course in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a comparable degree course

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Safe handling of MS Office
