Their main responsibility lies in ensuring compliance with the Federal Immission Protection Act (BImSchG) in cooperation with the production plants. As far as legal and regulatory requirements are concerned, you analyze, interpret and transmit these in practical measures and processes. Coordination and documentation You are voting with Boehringer Ingelheim internal interfaces such as on the GFE (e.g. environmental protection, wastewater treatment and EHS). Furthermore, you perform evaluations, derive action requirements and ensure their implementation. In addition, you will lead or accompany cross-departmental projects focusing on environmental and approval topics. You are the contact person for operators of plants and represent compliance with legal requirements for authorities such as the Tübingen government office.

Master's degree (MBA, MA or MSc) / Diploma with main focus on pharmacy and/or chemistry and/or engineering and/or environmental research with several years of professional experience in the application and implementation of environmental requirements, ideally in the field of BImSchG Experience in the management or active co-design of projects with environmental and approval reference as well as experience in cooperation with authorities and internal interfaces Understanding legal texts and their practical relevance for production processes Embossed analytical skills and structured working Language security in communication with internal and external stakeholders as well as communication strength and ability to understand complex issues Self-responsibility, decision-making in a regulated environment and ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into understandable and implementable measures Teamability and cross-departmental thinking with a view to the overall design of production and approval English and German language skills in word and writing
