In order to optimally support the departments through IT solutions in their business processes, the Schwarz IT takes up the requirements of the departments in consultations and works together with these professional and efficient IT solutions.

As OT Security Architect (m/w/d), you develop the security architecture for our industrial systems and production networks. You design technical solutions to secure OT infrastructures and bring your know-how into the strategic development of our security landscape.

Your tasks

• Design and architecture of secure OT networks including segmentation, zone/conduits models and firewall concepts
• Conception and introduction of asset management solutions for complete collection and monitoring of OT components
• Operationalization of technical safety requirements in close coordination with engineering, IT and production
• Evaluation and selection of security solutions for industrial networks, SCADA systems and control technology
• Creation of technical safety concepts, architectural blueprints and integration guidelines
• Consultation of projects regarding secure OT architectures and technical implementation of security requirements

Your profile

• Complete study in the field of IT security, automation technology, electrical engineering or comparable qualification
• Deep experience in building and securing industrial networks (Layer 1-3), including routing, switching, VLANs, NAT, VPN, firewalling
• Knowledge of SCADA/ICS environments (e.g. Siemens PCS 7, ABB, Schneider Electric, Rockwell Automation)
• Experience with network architectures in production, in particular in the context of IEC 62443, IEC 61131, IEC 61158, IEC 61784, IEC 61511 and IEC 62061
• Trusted with OT-specific protocols (e.g. Modbus, PROFINET, OPC UA, DNP3) and their secure integration
• Ability to translate complex technical requirements into robust security architectures
• Very good knowledge of German and English
