Head of Accounting (m/f/d)

As Head of Accounting, you assume the overall responsibility for Group Accounting including Monthly, quarterly and annual accounts from the control to the production of the annual accounts and the interim financial statements of Baader Bank according to HGB.

Your tasks at a glance: You are responsible for the further development and implementation of group-wide accounting standards, nomenclatures and processes as well as the software used with the focus on automation and digitization with the aim of raising accounting to the next level. In addition, you are responsible for the completion of the companies according to HGB - audit-proof and in close coordination with the Head of Division. You act as contact persons for auditors, consultants and supervisory authorities as well as the subsidiaries on their accounting and accounting issues. You are responsible for the high quality of accounting and ensure that You are set up in a fiscal and legal manner at any time and that all relevant accounting standards are complied with in accordance with HGB and intra-group guidelines. You actively promote the implementation/further development of internal control systems and drive the digitization of accounting processes together with the field management and thus “finance transformation”. The professional and disciplinary leadership of a multi-headed accounting team with the aim of forming, stabilizing and optimizing this as a coach is also part of your work. You have a strategic vision and an understanding of how changes have an operating, systemic and accounting impact in the Group in the long term.

You have a successfully completed study of economics with a focus on accounting, controlling or auditing or a comparable qualification. In addition, you will bring several years of experience in consolidated and external reporting according to HGB, along with well-founded knowledge in German trade and tax law as well as the principles of RechKredV. Ideally, you could already gain leadership experience. You have experience in designing/optimizing consolidation processes and reporting packages. Knowledge and experience with Sage and the consolidation software IDL are of advantage. In addition to a structured and solution-oriented mode of operation, you are particularly distinguished by a high degree of self-initiative and a pronounced hand-on mentality. You will enjoy optimizations and challenges and will be happy to work in the team. Flowing German and English skills complete your profile.
