As a Senior Data Engineer (m/w/d) for Data-Lake development, you will accompany the entire process chain – from request determination to conception, testing and 3rd-level support. You develop the data-lay components on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), optimize the big data infrastructure including related processes as well as architectures and implement reusable components or Frameworks. In the case of agile software development – together with an interdisciplinary team – you use advanced technologies, methods and tools of the GCP (e.g. Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery).

Successful study: Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, Natural Sciences with Master's degree or supplementary professional practice or a comparable academic degree A pronounced data affinity and experience in handling large data volumes (SQL, data modeling) Experience in leading small development teams as well as in object-oriented programming, ideally in Java 21 / Java Spring Boot Know-how in the implementation and construction of IT architectures, at best in extensive data storage implementation or data warehouse architectures Advantages: familiar with Data-Lake / Warehouse implementations on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), programming with Spark / Python or the application of big data applications in the environment of Machine Learning, Data Science or Artificial Intelligence Very good German in word and writing, supplemented by the ability to prepare content as well as to convey it in a comprehensible manner
