Financial Reporting Compliance Specialist (m/f/d)

Own financial department is set up due to the strategic realignment of the Coatings division. This offers an exciting opportunity to build and shape the organization from scratch. Therefore we are looking for a Financial Reporting Compliance (FRC) Specialist with the following tasks: In this role you are responsible for the global FRC process (2nd line of defense). Using a risk-based FRC approach, you define the scope of FRC measures (scoping), update the central risk catalog and apply it. You manage the global FRC community and support local FRC coordinators in design evaluation and testing. You remain up to date with process and regulatory updates, integrate them into existing FRC processes, guidelines and training concepts and train according to FRC users: globally. Recurring and ad hoc reporting to the Executive Board is just as important as regular exchange with external and internal auditors and auditors. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate reporting activities, improve transparency and align the application of the FRC process with the higher-level financial strategy. Last but not least, drive the continuous improvement by identifying possibilities for process and technology improvements to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.

University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field; Professional certifications such as WP, CPA or CA are advantageous at least 3 years of professional experience in external or internal audit with a focus on internal control systems in a large, preferably multinational company Experience in the chemical industry or similar industries is advantageous, in particular in the context of restructuring or disintegration. comprehensive IFRS knowledge as well as SAP and advanced MS Office skills pronounced analytical and problem-solving approach, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders very good English skills and strong interpersonal skills to be successful in a multicultural, dynamic environment
