The focus of the position is on the administration of backup solutions, storage and SAN systems and the technical operation of central data center components.

Planning, implementation and documentation of restore processes to ensure the recovery of business-critical systems and data Administration and lifecycle management of the backup servers including hardware migration, capacity planning and analysis and troubleshooting Operation, maintenance and further development of SAN and storage infrastructure including connection of storage systems to the backup environment Implementation of Windows server, firmware and infrastructure updates taking into account security and availability requirements Analysis and elimination of complex operational disruptions within the framework of 2nd-/3rd-level support and close cooperation with internal departments and external service providers

Graduated training, e.g. as a specialist informatics (m/w/d) system integration or a comparable qualification with corresponding expertise Multiannual professional experience in the operation of backup, storage or server infrastructures Found knowledge in enterprise backup solutions, ideally Commvault® as well as good knowledge in the field of Windows Server, Hardware Lifecycle Management as well as firmware and operating system updates Experience in handling SAN and storage technologies as well as Fibre Channel Infrastructures Experience in the operation of data centers and technical infrastructure such as USV, climate and energy systems Structured, analytical and self-responsive operation combined with high service and customer orientation as well as pronounced team and communication skills Very good knowledge of German and English
