Cloud Engineer with a focus on AI Services (m/f/d)

Conception, implementation and operation of AI and LLM platform components (e.g. Azure OpenAI, own LLM deployments, vector databases, retrieval/RAG services) and connection of internal systems (REST APIs, databases, specialist applications) Building the technical basis for LLM endpoints, tool/function calling, orchestration and MCP server as well as integration into existing system landscapes and Agentic-AI scenarios Connection of relevant data sources (e.g. databases, DWH, data sheets, document repositoryes) including role and authorization concepts as well as collaboration with security and guardrail concepts (ID and API management, content filtering, protection against data outflow Implementation and maintenance of Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, Bicep) and integration of platform and observability components in CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) based on defined platform standards, reference architectures and landing zones Building and further development of observability concepts for AI services (laying, error rates, resources, costs, usage patterns) including implementation of monitoring, logging and tracing solutions (e.g. Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Dashboards, Alerts, SLIs/SLOs) as well as participation in auto-scaling, limit, quotting and cost concepts Incident and Problem Management (Cause Analysis, Improvement Measures), Creating Runbooks, Playbooks, Best Practices and Architectural Documents for Scaling, Observability, Security and Cost, and Advising Projects for the Optimum Use of the AI Platform

Completed study of (economic) informatics or a comparable qualification Experience in cloud and infrastructure, ideally with large, productive environments Practice with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and Cloud Workloads Understanding security, governance and network architecture in cloud environments Experience with monitoring, logging and tracing solutions (e.g. Azure Monitor, Application Insights) Structured, quality-conscious and independent working Team-oriented and communicative, safe in exchange with development, architecture, security, operation and specialist areas Pragmatic and resilient, with pleasure in providing a robust and transparent platform for many teams Very good knowledge of German in word and writing
