It also has two conventional X-ray therapy devices, HDR and LDR-Brachytherapy, a big bore planning CT, access to PET-CT and MRT planning. The Institute of Radiooncology Radiation Therapy is an integral part of the Osthesian tumor center with the certified organ centers (Brust, Intestinal, Pancreas, Prostate and Skull Base Center). In the stationary area, the patients are interdisciplinaryly supervised in a collegially guided tumor clinic (26 beds), in the outpatient area, the combined radiochemotherapies are also jointly supervised. All in all, there is training authorization for the field of radiotherapy, including clinical year. The Campus Fulda/ Universitätsmedizin Marburg explicitly supports doctoral projects. Participation in training events and in national and international congresses is desirable and financially supported.
