Advisor for church finances (m/f/d)

Consultation and accompaniment of ecclesiastical bodies in budgetary and financial matters – including meeting service in the evening hours and implementation of budget-relevant decisions Coordination between administration, communities and committees to ensure transparent and efficient financial processes Strategic budgeting and communication of financial key figures, including drafting of budgets, budgets and annual accounts Operational financial management, such as the consolidation of invoices and documents according to budgetary requirements, as well as the preparation of bills and evidence of use Participation in the further development of the household book and in digital optimization processes

A successfully completed (Bachelor) degree in Public Management, Administration, Business Administration with a focus on accounting or a commercial training (e.g. bank merchant, administrative specialist, tax specialist) with corresponding further training First professional experience in the financial sector and well-founded knowledge in double accounting Communication strength, team capacity, resilience and safe occurrence in the advice of ecclesiastical institutions Safe handling of MS Office 365 and willingness to work in specialist applications Self-employed, careful and service-oriented working with high IT affinity Identification with the values of the Evangelical Church
