Group leader AI-augmented Systems Engineering – MBSE / AI (m/f/d)

Research and topics: In research and industrial projects, you actively participate and develop new solutions in the context of AI-augmented Systems Engineering. In close coordination with your department management, you develop the research profile of the group and ensure the scientific utilization of the corresponding project and research results. Personnel management: You support the department management especially in the professional management of up to 7 employees assigned to your group. This includes support for project occupancy, personnel development, recruiting, hiring and incorporating new employees. Acquisition and project development: You support the department management in launching and developing support projects and industrial cooperation. These include contact management among business partners and customers, the representation of your research field at national and international events and the further development of the group's performance portfolio. Process and quality management: In your group, you will ensure high process and result quality. This includes the quality assurance of project and research results, publications and student works. Institute-wide cooperation: You strengthen the institute culture through cross-departmental cooperation and integrate yourself into the education and training in cooperation with the IEMAcademy.

You have completed a technical university study (e.g., computer science, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, systems engineering) and have professional practice (e.g. project management) with corresponding expertise in the above-mentioned topic. Ideally, you have already instructed interdisciplinary teams of scientists. You are experienced in dealing with industrial partners in management, in cooperation with scientific institutions and in consulting companies and/or other organizations. You are curious and motivated, you are quickly working on new topics and have a strong passion for technologies that you actively try and question. The German (min. level C1) and English language are sure to be in word and writing and are happy about your business trips in Germany and abroad.
