Team Leader Technology & Systems (m/f/d)

Our focus is on the development, production and distribution of medium and high-pressure compressors for numerous applications in the Industry, Commercial Shipping, Defense and Offshore segments. As part of the further growth of the Research & Development department, we are looking for a team management (m/w/d) for the Technology & Systems team at the next time possible. Activity description As Team Management Technology & Systems (m/w/d), you take over the technical and disciplinary leadership of an interdisciplinary team of technical product designers, engineers and test stand engineers (m/w/d), which comprises 13 people. Together you shape the technological future of our products: You drive innovation, identify relevant new technologies and ensure that calculation, simulation and experimental methods are always up-to-date. You create the framework conditions so that ideas can be successfully implemented in pioneering solutions.

Professional and disciplinary leadership of the team as well as individual promotion and development of employees Personnel, resource and capacity planning in line with the team and department goals Creating a motivating working environment and promoting an open and powerful team culture Further development of processes, methods and structures in the area of responsibility Responsibility for implementing research and development activities in terms of quality, time and cost Close cooperation with adjacent departments as well as cross-site teams in the global R&D network Further development of the global R&D structure with focus on simulation, calculation and analysis tools Harmonisation of measurement methods, data analyses and technical standards Expansion of simulation and calculation skills and system responsibility within the team Responsibility for planning, operation and further development of the R&D test stand as well as cross-site test stand Identification, evaluation and further development of new technologies, materials and applications Technology management for gases, oils and components including technology roadmaps and trend analysis

Complete Master's degree in mechanical engineering or comparable qualification Multiannual leadership experience of interdisciplinary teams as well as joy in the development and promotion of employees Ability to motivate teams and create a powerful team culture Experience in managing complex development projects in an international environment Knowledge of technology and innovation management Experience in the design, test executions, measurement technology and data evaluation of piston machines Good knowledge of thermodynamic and mechanical simulations (FEM/CFD) Safe handling of CAD systems and MS Office Impressed addressable communication and organisational capability and high self-initiative High enthusiasm and motivation combined with a cooperative leadership style High analytical and abstractability Strategic thinking and interest in technology and organizational development Very good English skills in word and writing Travel readiness for occasional missions
