In this position, you actively shape the next generation of our high-performance sensors and work at the interface between development, application and production. Development and design of latest sensor generations for optical 3D measurement technology

Conception, construction and commissioning of mechanical and electronic prototypes

Planning and implementation of tests and measurement series in the laboratory

Error analysis, identification of optimization potentials and derivation of improvement measures

Close cooperation with mechanics, electronics and software development in the implementation of new solutions

Interface work between mechanical (e.g. tuning of housing concepts, adjustment and assembly strategies),

electronics (e.g. commissioning and testing of circuit boards, construction of test stands),

Operations/Production (e.g. conversion to series, support in manufacturing processes, troubleshooting)

Developments within an interdisciplinary project team

You will fit us if you are happy to stand in the lab, to run things and to work interdisciplinary.

Successfully completed technical studies in the field of mechatronics, electrical engineering, precision engineering, mechanical engineering with a mechatronic focus or comparable qualification or technical training with relevant professional experience and enthusiasm for electronics, mechanics and programming

Embossed hand-on mentality and experience in the design and testing of prototypes in the laboratory

You are technically enthusiastic – even privately: You like to screw, craft on electronics, 3D printing, microcontrollers, maker projects, etc. and bring this practical passion into your everyday work

Experience in the programming of microcontrollers and in the creation of Python scripts (e.g. for measurement automation, data evaluation)

Ideally basic Linux skills (e.g. for embedded systems, script creation, toolchains)

Strong analytical skills and a systematic, structured and targeted approach to solving complex tasks

Fun at work in the interdisciplinary team, high self-motivation and communication strength

Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
