As a trainee maintenance engineer digitization, you work in the multi-company maintenance engineering team responsible for the planning and development of the maintenance processes and tools of all national and international Mercedes-Benz bodyworks worldwide. As part of the continuous increase in the efficiency of our maintenance processes, you develop process standards and guidelines together with the central maintenance departments of the plants and actively participate in the digitization of these processes. In close cooperation with our Digital Factory Campus in Berlin, you support and relieve the development, implementation and further development of digital tools that support and relieve the operational maintenance of the plants, including in fault and fault management, in the spare parts ordering process, in the documentation and in fault analysis and in further operational tasks. You work in a department with locations in three locations in Germany, which coordinates and controls the international maintenance cooperation of the plants in Germany, the USA, Hungary, South Africa and China. Take a central interface between operational business and data scientists, guide projects with international relevance and impact and develop innovative and sustainable solutions.

An above-average university degree (Master, MBA or PhD) in engineering, information technology, business informatics, data science, economics or a comparable degree course

Maximum three years of professional experience (without periods of study)

At least three months of experience abroad (study, international internship, work & travel)

A pronounced affinity for digital technologies and enthusiasm for future trends

Very good English knowledge (C1) and German knowledge (B2)
