The recruitment is completed within the framework of a project funding for the project “KINDER STÄRKEN 2.0 – Projects for children with special learning and life difficulties”. Funding is made from the European Union (EU), the European Social Fund Plus (ESF Plus) and the state funds of the Free State of Saxony.

The aim of the promotion is to enable children with special learning and life difficulties to have equal educational opportunities through additional support and support. This allows them to overcome these difficulties or to learn appropriate management strategies and to learn to strengthen them for healthy growth, in order to be able to successfully shape their further path of education and subsequent careers.

The additional subject area includes:

• Demand determination and target and measure planning:
• to identify specific needs for assistance and support for children and families in close cooperation with the management of the institution and the pedagogical staff already working there and to derive appropriate offers and measures
• Implementation of support measures for children:
• Development and implementation of promotional and specific offers and support measures, e.g. in the context of individual case work with children, systematic, target group-oriented small group work, specific target group-oriented offers for children in the last kindergarten year
• Working with parents:
• providing appropriate support and counselling services to parents, e.g. needs-related development talks, counselling on education issues
• Information on external support and counselling services, assistance and offers on education and training topics for families
• Kita/Team support:
• Introducing suggestions for further design impulses of educational processes or structural developments to the team
• Support in challenging situations with children and parents
• support in the development of conceptual perspectives for action on topics related to the chance-oriented education, support and promotion of children and parents
• Cooperation:
• Establishment of networks and offers in the social-spatial environment (e.g. social-paediatric centers, early schools, therapists, doctors, offices) which are intended to serve the special needs of children and their parents
• Network work

**Qualification of additional professionals:**

The additional staff should have one of the following professional qualifications:

• state-approved childhood pedagogue/childcare
• state-approved social education/social education
• State-approved social worker/social worker
• State-recognized healing teacher with university degree
• Diploma or Bachelor in Educational Studies, Degree in Social Education/Social Work or Childhood Education

Persons who have a professional qualification in child and youth psychology, education, language education or rehabilitation education can also be admitted.

In addition, a minimum two-year professional experience is to be found in a social educational field of child and youth assistance, disability assistance, school social work or social services.

In addition, the following persons may also be admitted:

• state-approved educator/educators
• state-recognized medical teacher/school teacher with special education

if they have a minimum four-year professional experience** in a social pedagogical field of child and youth assistance, disability assistance, school social work or social services, or have completed training in the field of early childhood diagnostics, development planning, parental work, adult education or multilingualism, as well as to the handling of children with a migration background of at least 80 hours.

The weekly working time is maximum 30 hours per week. The remuneration is based on TVöD-VKA, grouping arrangements for employees in social and educational services.
