Senior EHS Manager – Region Weser-Ems (m/f/d)

Our client is an internationally active group of companies with industrial background and several locations in Germany. For the Weser-Ems region, we are looking for an experienced personality that strategically develops the Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) area and anchors it in the organization. In this key role you take over the overriding EHS management for the supervised locations in the region. You question existing structures, set impulses for sustainable improvements and understand EHS as a strategic lever for safe, efficient and sustainable working conditions. You act as an austerity partner of the management and actively shape the culture of security and responsibility.

Strategic development and cross-site control of EHS activities Ensuring and continuous optimization of EHS standards, guidelines and processes Implementation of risk analyses and derivation of preventive measures to reduce accident and environmental risks Analysis of relevant key figures for performance control and identification of improvement potentials Management and implementation of EHS projects including training and awareness actions Consultation and close cooperation with executives in all matters of work, health and environmental protection Promoting a learning organisation through coaching, structured action planning and sustainable cultural development

Multiannual experience in the EHS environment, preferably in an industrial or production environment Knowledge of occupational health and safety and the handling of relevant legal requirements Experience in building or developing environmental and safety management systems Analytical Strength and Structured Solution-Oriented Operation Convincing communication and safe occurrence readiness for regular presence at the supervised locations (day pendulum area) Very good knowledge of German and English
