Glenair was founded in Glendale, California USA in 1956. As part of the successful growth, sales, development and production facilities were opened worldwide, including in England, Italy, Germany, France and Sweden. Glenair GmbH, established since 1983 and based in Bad Homburg, expanded its focus in 2017 with the development and production of mechanisms and cable sets for the space industry at the Salem/ Bodensee site. As one of the largest manufacturers of interconnection technology, the Glenair team is working closely with almost all well-known companies from the aerospace, defence, railway, marine and offshore industries. Your tasks and responsibilities Ensuring and monitoring quality in production Conduct of inspections and documentation of test results Processing and tracking of production complaints Testing of manufactured assemblies using technical drawings, specifications and test specifications Implementation of incoming goods, intermediate production checks and final checks Execution of electrical tests, for example with multimeters or cable spoons Testing and evaluation of components in terms of functionality, quality and conformity Assessment of the craftsmanship and implementation of optical controls Conducting mechanical tests and measurements Complete documentation of the tests and inspections carried out Creation of production complaints and support in error analysis Monitoring compliance with customer and legal requirements in product development and moderation and management of problemsolvings (8D) Participation in the definition, implementation and follow-up of corrective and corrective measures for sustainable quality improvement

Complete technical vocational training and professional experience in quality assurance Basic knowledge of electronics and electrical wiring Ideally certification according to relevant industry standards, e.g. IPC/WHMA-A-620, ECSS-Q-ST-70-26 or ECSS-Q-ST-70-61 Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Knowledge of DIN EN 9100 desirable Analytical, structured operation with high quality and result orientation Embossed communication and team skills
