Number: MER0003VAC The communication department of Mercedes-Benz Vans is responsible as part of the communication area of Mercedes-Benz Group AG for all van works, products and future technologies, as well as for all the economic, brand and sustainability issues relating to the business area. We are the organizers of media events, central contact for journalists, and inform our employees. With the successful application to this site, you will strengthen the team “Product & Technology Communication Vans & Cross Functions”, whose hands are the global external communication on all sustainability & technology topics of Mercedes-Benz Vans: for example, the introduction of the electric platform “VAN.EA” (Van-Electric-Architecture). All newly developed medium-sized and large vans from Mercedes-Benz are built on this basis from 2026. This team also hosts cross-border internal communication on all MB Vans topics. From your first internship week, we will take you fully into our work. You also take your own projects. These are your primary tasks: Editorial preparation and writing of texts for internal channels such as the Social Intranet

Design & maintenance of the Mercedes-Benz Vans Space in the Social Intranet

Content preparation of (digital) press events and dates and, if necessary, on site

Tracking and evaluating Press Reporting

Support for communication activities for top management Mercedes-Benz Vans

Working in creating press material and playing different external communication channels (focus: press communication and social media)

There is the possibility to gain insights into the task set of neighboring teams and to gain practical experience in the event organization

The activity can begin from March 2026.

Course in Communications/Economics, PR, Journalism, Business/Economics, Humanities/Social Sciences or a comparable degree course

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing, other languages of advantage

Secure handling of MS Office and digital media

Commitment and team skills

Analytical thinking and strategic working

Very good communication and organizational skills

High level of autonomy and self-initiative

Possible practical experience in communication

Valid driving license of class B (car) and interest in driving Mercedes-Benz vehicles
