Number: MER0003WI2 At the Mercedes-Benz plant Rastatt, the bodies for A-Class, GLA, EQA and the new CLA are currently being produced in our raw building halls. We, in the team Z3 and joining technology, are responsible for the production of the components in the flex cells. With us you will get to know various technologies and methods of automated body production. Do you want to actively participate in our production area and gain an overview of highly efficient production with highest quality standards? Then we look forward to your application! These challenges include: Support for operational engineers in ensuring quality and availability targets in ongoing series production

Working in the daily shopfloor rounds

Participation in the preparation, control and implementation of operational tests in production

Working with the optimization of production plants and workflows, especially when commissioning for succession series

Participation in the planning and standardization of production techniques (e.g. resistance spot welding, laser soldering, bolt welding, adhesive bonding and clinches)

Application of digital analysis and evaluation tools

The activity can begin from April 2026.

Study programme in the field of industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable study programme

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Safe handling of MS Office

Commitment and team skills

Analytical way of thinking and self-employed working

Reliability and self-motivation
