Servicetechniker / Field Service Engineer (m/f/d)

Implementation of service operations in foundries and steel works in Germany and abroad (mainly European) including Maintenance and preventive maintenance. Diagnosis and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical components and repairs, cooling water monitoring and simple hydraulic activities. Exchange and wiring of components (e.g. control electronics, thyristors, IGBT modules) as well as carrying out measurements with multimeter and oscilloscope. Coils soldering and welding as well as associated work. If necessary, mechanical works such as coil cleaning and sheet metal package change, furnace bottom change and replacement of components (e.g. furnace head, power cable, inductor, insulation and insulation materials). Support for modernization and commissioning (signal and function testing, programming of peripheral devices). Documentation of service operations and communication with the back office as well as customer support in cooperation with sales. Perspective or with corresponding experience: construction management for service operations and coordination and control of foreign company employees.

Complete study of electrical engineering or mechatronics or electrotechnical vocational training with corresponding further training as an electrical technicianin/masterin Ready for further training in mechanics, soldering and welding techniques and induction furnace technology Experience in handling schematics, measuring instruments and control technology Good knowledge of German and English at level B2 or higher; additional languages are advantageous readiness to travel (in Germany and abroad, about 60%)
