Responsible for the quantitative analysis of natural disaster risks using Verisk's Vendor models Assessment of model, portfolio and damage data and management of deductible reinsurance and ILS transactions Model and evaluate disaster bonds and ILS investments Speak closely with our risk experts:inside to model results, uncertainties and risk drivers Examination of professional responsibility for NatCat-related issues at the point of intersection of reinsurance and capital markets

Successfully completed studies of mathematics, physics or economic mathematics with a very good degree Multiannual professional experience in actuary functions in the reinsurance industry, for example as a risk analyst, natural disaster modeler:in, risk manager:in or in a comparable quantative role Experience in the application of established NatCat models, especially Verisk (AIR) Experience in the analysis, plausibility and interpretation of model results for risk and capital market decisions Very good Excel knowledge and experience in the analysis and preparation of complex data, characteristics in Python, R or SQL are advantageous German and English skills You analyze complex issues structured, questioned results critically, identify essential relationships, quickly find yourself in new situations and communicate your findings clearly and understandably You are happy to work in the team, bring your perspective into professional discussions and jointly develop with your colleague: ingenious solutions for complex issues You may not meet all the requirements mentioned, but you will understand your expertise.
