What we plan together: The Central Business Administration is the contact person and know-how carrier for business processes with specialist and system expertise for accounting and adjacent commercial areas within the REWE Group. In the associated function area of financial accounting, the operational and organisational supervision of financial accounting and the mapping of the processes in IT systems are ensured.

Business process changes or new introductions always mean adjustments in the existing SAP systems at REWE Group. We are responsible for the process and system design at the interface between accounting, tax department and IT service providers. We are also contact persons for the preparation of requirements of the accounting accounting behaviour according to HGB and IFRS and Tax Law.

What you do with us: Your ideas for the future: You develop and optimise business processes in the context of our group-wide SAP system, focusing on the correct mapping of financial accounting issues. You can rely on your expertise: you analyze technical process requirements and ensure cross-company coordination and documentation. You are in the middle of it: You are a contact person for the accounting units and tax departments of REWE Group companies, first set up central accounting policies and support for larger accounting changes. Make decisions, draw conclusions: You take responsibility in project work and actively participate in change processes. You set high standards: As part of our Corporate Responsibility, you will ensure compliance with Group specifications and ensure uniform and efficient procedures for the entire and internationally established REWE Group. You look at the whole thing: As a process designer of the supervised procedures, you monitor the technical synchronization of the participating systems and ensure the data quality.

What convinces us: First of all, your personality: Your pronounced process thinking, your strong communication skills and a healthy level of enforcement. It's fun to set you up for new situations. You quickly build a network and go with care, solution orientation and persuasiveness to your projects. You have successfully completed a degree in economics (ideally with the focus on asset accounting, accounting or taxes). Alternatively, you have a comparable training from the commercial environment with corresponding professional experience or further training (e.g. the balance sheet book holder). You could already gain experience in the optimization and design of business processes in the accounting environment. In addition, you have ideally already worked in development projects at the interface of specialist and IT. You already have experiences in the functionalities of SAP financial applications in the R/3 and S4HANA and the corresponding customizing. You have experience in financial accounting, especially in the field of turnover tax. You have already gained experience with the interface technologies BTP, IDOC, BATCH-INPUT. You know the sales tax reporting processes in Germany and possibly also in European countries. You have strong analytical skills and pleasure in understanding systemic relationships and developing new solutions. You work independently, proactively and bring the willingness to occasionally travel. You communicate easily in English.
