You participate in the development of new infrared systems with a focus on electro-optical characterization of infrared detectors and keep an eye on the system as a whole. You support the definition and design of infrared systems for our customers from the space travel segment. In cooperation with your colleagues, you define measurement and evaluation methods including analysis and correlation of measurement results, use infrared systems in operation and characterize them in all construction states. You plan and carry out qualification and acceptance test campaigns (including environmental tests such as vibration, shock or irradiation). You also take care of the creation and maintenance of related documentation such as e.g. B. Specifications (both internal and external customers), testing and sampling procedures or corresponding reports.

You have successfully completed a Bachelor's, Master's or Diploma in Physics, Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering, or have a comparable qualification. You can already present several years of professional experience in the field of optronics, electronics, measurement technology or infrared technology, and you want to expand this knowledge with us. You have good characteristics for semiconductors and electronics. You have the ability to carry out trouble shooting and enjoy developing practical solutions.
