Team Leader Power Converters Secondary Technology – HVDC / STATCOM (m/f/d)

Engagedly, you take over the construction and management of the new Team Inverter secondary technology (TSD) and continuously develop/qualify your employees. You create technical guidelines with your team and promote the standardization in the field of secondary technology for power converter systems (e.g. HGÜ converters, STATCOM etc.). Together with your team, you support the development and optimization of processes in power converter projects (AC and DC). You plan the team resources and provide them for the processing of AC/DC projects. You represent the interests of TransnetBW to external partners (e.g. national or international bodies). In each phase of the project, you will process and answer technical questions with your team on the subject of power converter secondary technology and coordinate the internal orders with the process participants.

You have a university degree (Diplom/Master or Bachelor) of Electrical Engineering / Energy Technology or Physics completed – or a comparable state of knowledge thanks to years of professional practice. For this purpose, you have at least 5 years of experience in a relevant area of a network operator, with insights into the project team management or Staff management. You have well-founded knowledge of secondary technology and project management. And personally? Are you pragmatic, solution-oriented and are characterised by an independent working and self-initiative. You master the German and English language well in word and writing.
