Teamplayer:in Legal – Commercial We are looking for reinforcement for the Team Commercial in our Group Legal Division. In close cooperation with the relevant business units, you tax and treat all legal matters of the OBI Group. As a trading company with a large network of stationary markets, our legal area is of great economic importance for us.

Legal advice: Full legal support of the OBI Group's Purchasing and Quality Management departments, both for the range of goods and for complex indirect goods and services

Payment solutions: Strategic legal support for our digital payment solutions, especially in the design, introduction and scaling of innovative payment methods in omnichannel trading

Regulatorics: Own-sponsored analysis and compliance with complex regulatory requirements for payment services and financial products (e.g. ZAG, MaRisk)

Contract design: Sovereign Creation, Examination and negotiation of international contracts with payment service providers:inside, tech providers and strategic commercial partners:inside

Sustainability: Legal support of the OBI Sustainability Strategy, including through the review of supply chain topics and the legal protection of ESG initiatives

Project work: Leading legal support for cross-departmental transformation projects and innovation projects throughout the OBI Group

Qualification: Completion as a full lawyer:in with two above-average stateexamina

Professional experience: at least 3 years of relevant professional practice in the legal department of an internationally active company or in a renowned business law firm

Purchasing Law: Deep expertise in the design of purchasing and supply contracts and in the legal protection of global procurement processes

Payment services: Special knowledge of the Regulator for payment services or banking and capital market law

Contract law: negotiating knowledge in general economic and contractual law, ideally in the context of (large) trade

Understanding: High level of business acumenism and the ability to integrate complex legal issues into the operational processes of a wholesale company
