The Vivantes Klinikum Neukölln is responsible for the supply of approximately 350,000 inhabitants and residents of the southern districts of Berlin with more than 1,000 beds and 20 occupancy clinics. As a clinic for maximum care, it functions as an accident center hospital, vascular center, as well as neuro, tumor, pelvic floor and mother-child center.

The clinic carries out all open and endovascular procedures which can take place without the use of a heart-lung machine. A state-of-the-art hybrid surgery is available for the treatment of complex aortic pathologies with fenestrated or burned stent prostheses. Further treatments are carotid surgery, peripheral and crural bypass surgery, and treatment of diabetic feet and chronic wounds.

There is an intensive collegial cooperation with all relevant specialist departments in the vascular centre Neukölln. Together with angiology, vascular surgery proves an interdisciplinary station. The formation is ensured by corresponding rotations.
