Enabler for smaller, more powerful and more energy-efficient microchips

Work where the morning arises. About 80 percent of all microchips worldwide are manufactured using ZEISS technologies. As the heart of any electronically controlled system, they are no longer to think away from our everyday life – whether in smartphones, smart homes or smart factories. They act as a direct interface to the 1st level support of local Zeiss organisations. They carry out installations of new equipment locally with customers. After working description, you are responsible for the adjustment of very complex assemblies, analyse novel disturbances and determine corrective measures for demanding problems. In addition, you will perform the service and maintenance of our equipment (telephone, remote and on-site) and act as a brand ambassador of ZEISS worldwide. The troubleshooting and troubleshooting by reconnaissance of systematic error effects will provide you with a full responsibility and analyze, fix and document the faults independently. successfully completed studies in the fields of electronics, optronics, automation technology, microsystem technology, mechatronics, physics or comparable training to technicians

relevant professional experience in the technical service in semiconductor technology, special machine construction or a comparable industrial sector

readiness to multi-week worldwide missions (approximately 60% of service travel) and high flexibility in terms of your time of use

Openness to other cultures, ideally detectable intercultural competence (especially in Asia)

a high level of communication, team and enforcement capability

fun in solving challenging technical problems and a pronounced service and hands-on mentality

very good knowledge of German and English
