As a research and development partner of the industry, the Fraunhofer Institute for Microelectronic Circuits and Systems IMS in Duisburg develops customized microelectronic circuits, microsystems and sensors for specific requirements in the fields of technology services, biomedical sensors, optical systems and quantum technology. Depending on the process, we offer all the steps directly on site or cooperate closely with Foundrys and other Fraunhofer institutes. Our ''Technology Planning'' group centrally coordinates all clean room activities and ensures that production and development projects are implemented efficiently, on time and in high quality. Through structured project management and close coordination with our scientific departments as well as external manufacturing partners, it forms the organizational backbone for numerous technology-driven developments at the institute.

You take over the professional and disciplinary leadership of your four-member team and promote a trusted, efficient cooperation and individual development of your employees. Together with your team, you coordinate the timing of our clean room projects, keep costs and milestones in mind and initiate appropriate measures in case of deviations. You will regularly present the results of the Institute Management. By analyzing and evaluating process processes with our Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), you actively contribute to developing and sustainably improving production and business processes. Another key part of your activity is the responsibility and further development of the cleanroom contamination management. Here you ensure compliance with all requirements and make a significant contribution to the quality and safety of our production. In exchange with our customers, you take on regular reporting and act as a central contact person for organizational issues as well as delays in the production process. In addition, you create well-founded calculations for offers and project applications and, with your knowledge of experience, support the evaluation of new research ideas on their practical feasibility. To identify technological trends early and identify customer needs, visit relevant trade fairs and conferences.

Minimum qualifications: Complete master's degree in physics, electrical engineering or a comparable focus as well as practical knowledge in semiconductor manufacturing processes Experience in managing technical projects and dealing with MES Embossed analytical skills to identify and evaluate kennnumber-based production bottlenecks Solution-oriented and pragmatic mode of operation to react flexibly to unforeseen events High communication and coordination capability to ensure a smooth flow of information and to balance different interests constructively Required qualifications: Expertise in MEMS, sensor technology and/or photonics Experience in setting and using KPI dashboards and automated evaluations
