Global Environment Officer - temporary (m/f/d)

This body shall be occupied by a parental leave office until 30.09.2027.

We take over global functions for our subsidiaries worldwide for areas such as IT, Purchasing, Controlling, HR and many more. These are located at the main location in Harsewinkel and at our CLAAS campus in Herzebrock.

Your role in our team:

• Cooperation in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements within the framework of the strategic programme ‘ESG’
• Monitoring and evaluation of developments in reporting and due diligence on environmental issues, in particular based on EU regulations
• Based on the project development, implementation and continuous development of a group environmental management and the following guidelines, standards and processes
• Regular exchange of knowledge with internal and external experts from industry associations, other companies and consulting companies
• Technical and co-ordinative support for the workstream “Environment” and individual special projects
• Participation in the development and transfer of know-how for environmental issues in the CLAAS Group through training measures.

Your profile:

• Successfully completed economic studies ideally focusing on environmental/ sustainability management or a comparable qualification
• First professional experience in a comparable position in an international industrial company
• Experience in cooperation with projects with interdisciplinary teams
• Embossed Analytical Thinking Power and Target- and Solution-Oriented Operation
• Very good communication skills in German and English ( oral and written)
• Sovereign appearance, self-initiative and persuasiveness
• High reliability, resilience and pleasure in handling complex issues
• Secure handling of MS Office and other common software solutions.
