Group Leader Enterprise Architecture (m/f/d)

You develop and maintain the target architecture across all levels (business, information, application, technology) and ensure the coordination with product and program objectives. You define, document and communicate architecture principles and standards, reflect the pattern and guideline catalog and ensure quality assurance via Architecture Decision Records (ADRs). In addition, you conduct architecture reviews, evaluate solutions to architecture gates and make sure that implementations are compliant with the defined target architecture. You develop reference architectures, integration patterns (APIs, events) and data flow guiderails and prepare sound make/buy/reuse decisions. You will advise the Steering Board, BPO, POL and PMO on technology, cloud and platform decisions regarding cost-effectiveness, risk and scalability. In addition, you develop and maintain the data target architecture including migration roadmaps and support the strategic orientation of data flows and information structures. You're a professional team, you're planning your team members' missions and promoting knowledge building and a joint architecture vision.

You have a completed study of (economic) informatics, economic engineering or a comparable qualification – alternatively you bring equivalent professional experience with architecture focus. You have at least seven years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture or in leading technical roles with measurable business impact. In addition, you have sound knowledge of enterprise and domain architecture across all levels (business, information, application, technology) as well as experience in migration scenarios and roadmaps. You master modern architecture and integration technologies: API/Event management, cloud and platform architectures (Azure/AWS), data and security design as well as governance methods. You are familiar with methods and tools such as ArchiMate, UML, BPMN, Sparx EA or comparable EA platforms and use them safely for documentation, analysis and decision-making. In addition, you bring certifications or deepened knowledge in TOGAF, iSAQB or cloud architectures; complemented by security/privacy-by-design approaches and solid SQL and data storage experience. You are convinced by strategic thinking, communication strength and decision-making – in German and English – and you like to work at the interface between business and IT.
