You support the selection of the meshing strategy, the numerical modeling, and the automation of the postprocessing. You analyze the turbine characteristics with regard to different operating ranges and compare the numerical results with measurement data obtained from real turbines or in the in-house measurement laboratory. You cooperate with experts from simulation, measurement technology, hydraulic design, and strength calculation across different disciplines. Your profile You are an enrolled student (m/f/d) in mechanical engineering or a similar engineering course. You have basic knowledge of computational fluid dynamics. Knowledge of the software Ansys CFX and a programming language (e.g. Python, Perl or similar) is an advantage. You have a good command of written and spoken English, knowledge of German is advantage. You are a team player with the ability to work independently and have a structured and goal oriented way of working.
