Project Manager Portfolio Optimization

For the BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH, we are looking for you as project manager:in portfolio optimization at the Berlin site in an indefinite position. Our team, portfolio planning and optimization, is working on the design of climate-neutral district heating for Berlin. We combine different expertise to pave the way for BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH to transform our systems. With currently seven people, we jointly initiate the changeover and the new construction of production facilities. We work in the team and appreciate every contribution to the whole. Help us advance the heat transfer in Berlin! We are looking for you with strategic and conceptual capabilities to develop our climate-neutral producer portfolio. You initiate and conduct projects in the analysis phase and conduct feasibility studies with external support. You carry out portfolio investigations and identify relationships and dependencies. You develop ideas and suggestions for improvement and prepare policy proposals for management. We promote your personal and professional development through further education, internal learning formats and the opportunity to take early responsibility. Your tasks Initiation and management of projects for the strategic long-term implementation of climate-neutral transformation in the analysis phase Conduct and support of feasibility studies on individual producer projects Energy, technical and economic analyses to develop our future generation portfolio Use and preparation of modeling results to make optimal decisions for the development of the plant park. Consideration of various investment opportunities, inter alia, under the boundary conditions of individual sites, production profiles and emissions of different technologies and budget restrictions Preparation and presentation of relationships and dependencies within the framework of long-term plant planning Preparation of decision templates for our management

You have a completed university degree with an engineering or energy-scientific reference and ideally have first knowledge and/or Experience in the energy industry. You already have first experience in project management and communication with interfaces. You like working on the team. You can handle figures, data and facts well and make them understandably. You are creative and you can represent your own ideas well. You are in German and have basic knowledge in English.
