Transition Manager & Application Support (m/w/d)

As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With over 7,000 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. The ERP area is the competence centre “Application 4.0” and has the task of accompanying the entire lifecycle process for one of Europe’s largest SAP programs. Customer Application Management (CAM) is a part of the area: CAM ensures a stable, secure and efficient operation of the contracted, in particular also in-use IT services, in Germany and abroad, and ensures the comprehensive IT and data security of the Bundeswehr IT system. We always provide our service! The Team Application Management Service manages all associated services. It is responsible for its architecture, the continuous improvement of these services and for the transition management (transmissions from realization to use). Within its power, the team advances standardization, automation and benchmark capability (methods and tools). The Transition Manager supports the project manager. It controls and coordinates the necessary measures from the start of transmission until the completion of the transmission and reports to the project manager.

Consulting internal and external customers in transferring SAP and non SAP applications from implementation to application support

Planning, support and control of transitions in application support, coordination of parallel transitions

Support of service management in its tasks of planning and control in application management and service pipeline

Active participation in bodies of the customer and the BWI as part of the transition management and advice of the management of application management

Coordination in the e2e response area in application management to ensure trouble-free application operation

Complete university studies with relevant focuses on business information technology or computer science at least 6 years of professional experience in the field of application management and ITIL

Multiannual professional experience in transferring applications from Sw development to the application company

Optimal experience in the military environment

Enthusiasm for continuous integration into new topics in application management
