To strengthen our team, we are looking for a*n at the Institute for Automation Systems (IAS) from 01.10.2026: Laboratory Engineer (m/d) for automation technology, full time, unlimited The IAS operates various laboratories in the field of automation technology. The focus of this site is in the field of control technology as well as measurement and process technology.

Working in the planning, development and maintenance of laboratory facilities at the Institute for Automation Systems Cooperation in carrying out practical training (laboratory events) in the field of automation systems, in particular in the field of control technology and measurement technology Participation in the preparation of the scientific/technical content of professional training/project work Supporting student working groups and students for study/project and final work Administration of specialist software Participation in research and development projects

A completed engineering degree (Bachelor/FH diploma) with the focus on measuring, control and control technology, automation technology or comparable Good expertise in automation technology, especially programming experience in programmable controllers (SPS) Professional experience in automation technology (in particular control technology and measurement technology) Good knowledge of electrical engineering Good technical understanding, problem-solving ability and systematic-analytical thinking Care and team skills Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing Didactic experience in technical knowledge transfer is desirable.
