Carl Zeiss CMP GmbH is part of the global ZEISS manufacturing network and offers services for the development and production of opto-mechanical and optoelectronic modules components. The central core competence lies in the production of highly corrected spherical optics systems, which are used in particular in high-performance lenses of microscopy. Your role Performance of the goods input test for optical components and assemblies according to test plans, drawings and specifications

Own implementation of initial sampling of new parts and suppliers to ensure serial capability

Assessment of components with regard to quality, conformity and technical requirements

Conducting visual, dimensional and functional tests on high-precision optical components

Application of modern optical measurement technology (e.g. interferometers, spectrometers, optical test methods for surface, shape and material evaluation)

Creation, evaluation and documentation of test results and deviations

Processing of complaints and coordination with suppliers and internal interfaces

Participation in displacement projects and continuous improvement of testing processes

Support for product exit inspection to ensure delivery quality

Complete technical training (e.g. fine optics, optics, mechatronics, industrial mechanic or comparable)

Experience in quality assurance or incoming goods inspection, ideally in the field of optics / precision technology

Experience in handling optical measurement technology or willingness to further develop in this area

Safe handling of technical drawings, specifications and test specifications

Knowledge of relevant standards (e.g. ISO 10110) of advantage

Analytical thinkability and pronounced quality awareness
