The Ingolstadt County Association of the Bavarian Red Cross is a diverse provider of social services in the second largest city in Upper Bavaria. Our more than 500 active members of the willingness to help the waterguard and the youth red cross wherever assistance is needed. We take care of blood donations, secure the many events in Ingolstadt and are at the place of disasters and major damages. Our general staff secure the rescue service, drive people to medical care or bring them home from the clinic. We support older people with homelessness and thereby enable an independent life in their own four walls. We constantly train citizens in first aid. We are looking for a business leader (m/w/d) at 01.04.2026

Their main focus is on managing all operational issues and addressing the strategic challenges that will be resolved in close cooperation with the volunteer board of the BRK Circle Ingolstadt. In order to successfully manage the task of implementing the decisions of the Executive Board, it is important that you align the strategies you have developed for the Ingolstadt County Association with the basic principles of the Bavarian Red Cross. We require trusted cooperation with other divisions of the BRK, in particular with the district and country association. We expect a professional and disciplinary good management of staff and a continuous evaluation of our portfolio as a service provider under market and success points. Your tasks include the creation and maintenance of efficient networks within the Association, but also with public institutions and decision-makers of local policy.

You will best meet our high expectations if you have a very solid commercial training or a relevant study, along with corresponding professional experience, and have additional knowledge, qualifications and contacts that are advantageous for the performance of the described tasks. Ideally, you already have management expertise in the first or second management level of a company in the social or health sector, the specific requirements of successful cooperation with voluntary structures and their management and supervisory bodies are known to you in any case. The Executive Board expects a responsible personality with very good communication skills, safe appearance and initiative, commitment, flexibility and creativity. Embossed social skills complete the picture as well as enforcing ability. Of course you identify yourself with the principles of the Red Cross as part of a global movement
