The ''Budgetplanung und Instituts-Controlling'' department is responsible for the entire financial planning and forecasting processes of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. In addition, the department supports the Executive Board and the department departments of the headquarters in all matters relating to the controlling of the institutes and the entire Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. The subject area ''Controlling instruments and analyses'' is primarily responsible for the further development of the central and institute-specific reporting system. It ensures the reliable provision of analyses on FhG and institutes, both for the Executive Board and for the Executive Board and the Institutes. The European Chips Act will strengthen Europe's competitiveness and resilience in the field of semiconductor technologies and applications. With the European Chips Act, the EU will combat semiconductor scarcity and strengthen Europe's technological leadership. It will mobilise public and private investments of more than EUR 43 billion and, together with the Member States and our international partners, will establish measures to prepare, anticipate and respond quickly to future interruptions in the supply chain.

You monitor and control the EU Chips Act project. You independently build the monthly reporting of this project. You are the main contact person for the Fraunhofer Institutes as well as the headquarters for the financial situation of the project. You support our team in preparing and implementing the annual financial statements You conduct regular financial analyses as well as plan-actual comparisons and ad-hoc evaluations. You develop and optimize controlling systems with a focus on reporting and analysis

Completed academic studies, preferably with the focus on business management (BWL) and controlling, or comparable commercial training with the focus of Finance/Controlling First professional experience in controlling desirable Secure IT skills in MS Office applications (especially Excel) and likes experience with SAP/BW and SAC High self-initiative and sense of responsibility Self-employed, targeted working methods, pronounced numerical affinity and analytical thinking German language skills
