You are responsible for the strategic purchasing of large mechanical components for machines and systems. Develop and implement product group strategies to optimize costs, quality and security of supply. International suppliers choose to evaluate their performance and develop long-term partnerships. Through market analysis and benchmarking, you identify savings potentials and take appropriate measures. Framework contracts, prices and terms of delivery and payment negotiate professionally and targeted. For make-or-buy decisions as well as for cost analyses, you will introduce your technical and economic expertise.

You have completed technical or economic studies, for example in the field of mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or business management. Ideally you bring several years of experience in strategic purchasing, preferably in the field of mechanical components. Your strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes and materials will help you with sound purchasing decisions. Negotiating knowledge of German and English allows you to communicate with you on an international level. Your communication strength, your safe occurrence and your ability to enforce are the key to your daily use of internal and external partners.
