IT Sourcing & Provider Manager

As IT Sourcing & Provider Manager, you are responsible for implementing strategic and operational IT sourcing activities, maintaining close relationships with suppliers and suppliers, as well as ensuring high-quality commercial and contractual results. You act as a stabilizing and experienced employee within the team and play a key role in designing the maturity, efficiency and professionalism of the IT purchasing function.

Your role

Head of End-to-End IT Sourcing Initiatives for Software, Cloud, Managed Services and IT Services Management of the entire Sourcing lifecycle, including requirement clarification, market analysis, RFI/RFP processes, offer assessment, negotiations and gift recommendations Implementation of structured business negotiations with IT providers, including dominant providers Management of IT contracts throughout the life cycle (extensions, new negotiations, changes and terminations) Ensuring compliance with contracts and regulations in cooperation with the legal, data protection and information security department Development and maintenance of contract standards, procurement templates and best practices for negotiations Management of IT providers and service providers using KPI/SLA monitoring and governance frameworks. Regular performance and business reviews of providers to ensure service quality and continuous improvements. Processing of operational escalations and support for the long-term performance optimization of the providers. Implementation of market analyses, benchmarking, pricing and TCO/ROI evaluations. Critical review of provider offers, business cases and peripheral definitions to ensure commercial value Supporting complex IT-sourcing programs and transformation initiatives (e.g. migrations or infrastructure programs) Close cooperation with IT, finance, law and other important stakeholders to coordinate commercial and technical objectives Creation of management-capable reports, presentations and decision documents Contribution to team development through knowledge sharing, sourcing playbooks and process improvements

3–7 years of experience in IT-Sourcing, IT procurement or supplier/provider management Extensive negotiation experience with major IT providers, including suppliers in concentrated markets Knowledge of RFP processes, commercial reviews and IT contract structures (SLAs, KPIs, service credits, exit clauses) Experience in the areas of provider governance, performance management and service monitoring Embossed analytical and structured operation with high detail accuracy Excellent skills in stakeholder management and communication Liquid English and German knowledge (C1 or higher) with practical experience in German contract law
