The Thorax Surgery Clinic has 26 beds. The range of services includes the entire spectrum of thorax surgery, both conventional (classic, open-surgical) and minimal-invasive, including the entire spectrum of interventional bronchology. The treatment concepts are created interdisciplinary with pneumologists, oncologists and radiation therapists. In addition to medical quality, the human use and an optimal flow of information for our patients and established colleagues are at the heart of our work philosophy.

Nordhausen is a district town located on the southern edge of the resin, in a well-known setting with about 45,000 inhabitants. All secondary schools are located in the village.
