For our contract logistics location Hamburg-Hausbruch we are looking for you as:

• Personnel management and development: Direct leadership of employees in the inbound and outbound sector, including the implementation of assessment, praise and criticism.
• Performance Management: Ensuring the planned volumes and productivity through close control of the work area.
• Planning and organisation: creation of employee deployment plans and initiation and reporting of needs for employee qualification and development.
• Process optimization and fault management: Active moderation of shift and team discussions, clarification and troubleshooting as well as execution of process checks and hall tours.
• Data analysis and reporting: collection and analysis of key figures for performance measurement and derivation of measures.
• Continuous Improvement (CCP): Active cooperation and implementation of projects within the framework of CSDP, Kaizen and 5S.
• Communication and coordination: Participation in internal and external meetings to coordinate the processes.

What we want from you:

• Qualification: Complete training in logistics, e.g. for warehouse logistics, specialist warehouse (m/w/d) or comparable.
• Relevant professional practice: multi-year professional experience in logistics, forwarding or a comparable environment.
• Guide approach: (First) detectable leadership experience is present.
• IT competence: safe handling of MS Office; SAP knowledge is a clear advantage.
• Language knowledge: German in word and writing (at least C1 level). Basic knowledge of English is desired.
• Stress resistance: Embossed ability to maintain a cool head even under high pressure and to act confidently.
