Social counselling Working, residency and social counselling of students and students interested in all social situations (especially student financing, jobbenefits, health insurance) by telephone, video, e-mail or personally on site in our consulting rooms or on campus Conception and implementation of information events for students and their parents on consulting topics Consultation on short- and long-term loans, preparation of contracts, administration of contracts in the payment and repayment phase Organisation of the consultancy ''b!st - Consulting in the Studierendenwerk' (including clearing, online-based scheduling, correspondence) Editorial preparation of consulting topics for publications Create official credentials according to the BayVwVfG and its billing Network work in the field of higher education and with external bodies Coordination Tutorial Program Instructions Volunteer as part of the Tutorial Program in our homes Acquisition, coordination and support of tutors Managing administrative tasks, management of the housing programme Conception and implementation of training and workshops and information events for the tutors Development of new project ideas and concepts within the framework of the Tutorial Programme Promoting intercultural cooperation and integration of international students in our housing

A completed study of social work or comparable qualification Multiannual social experience Ideally consulting experience in psychosocial consulting and/or crisis consulting Very good English skills in word and writing A flexible and independent working style and a high degree of communication skills Good PC knowledge and handling of office software Joy in dealing with young people from home and abroad Sensitivity for cultural differences in ways of dealing and intercultural conflicts Committed helpfulness and a high degree of reliability in administrative tasks and administrative procedures Willingness to be incorporated into the legal foundations of consulting work (including BAföG, SGB II, SGB IV, SGB V, BKGG, WoGG, AufenthG) and for corresponding further training Ready for evening and weekend work (e.g. at events, fairs) Knowledge in the university education system and in the study day are beneficial Good organization and team skills as well as pleasure in network work Willingness to independent, continuous knowledge acquisition and transfer to the everyday consultancy Secure and competent appearance to students and network partners
