In-house technician (m/f/d)

The DGB Bildungswerk is the nationwide training organisation of the German Trade Union Federation (DGB) for general, political and trade union knowledge transfer. Founded in 1972 as a non-profit association, we have demonstrated competence in many different fields of employment law, business, social and political life for five decades. Around 130 employees from different target groups offer a comprehensive range of educational opportunities open to all interested parties throughout Germany.

♪ We are looking for you as a home technician (m/w/d) for our conference center at the Hattingen site

Full time with 37 hours per week, initially limited to 2 years

The following tasks await

• Implementation of repairs, maintenance and maintenance in the entire area of the conference center incl. Other facilities such as leisure and outdoor facilities
• Cooperation with external craftsmen and their control
• Establishing and placing of our meeting rooms for seminar operation
• provision of seminar technology
• Construction of special events
• Presentation of the organization to our customers

Your profile

• You have a successfully completed training in a craftsmanship, preferably as an electronic technician for energy and building technology
• You bring relevant professional experience
• Ideally you have basic knowledge of computer and media technology
• You master the German language in word and writing, can deal with MS-Office programs as part of your activity and have the license of class B (also BE)
• You like to work in a team-oriented, engaged and responsive manner in stress situations
• You have a reliable, service-oriented and independent working style
• readiness for shift services (speech service until 7:00 p.m.), weekend service and readiness to call
• voluntary or general experience in the trade union environment is advantageous
