Head of the Cash Department

Staff management and strategic control: You guide your department motivatingly and value-estimatingly in the core areas of the cash register with the areas of debt management (partnership accounting/regulatory offences), with executing agency, assets and debt, main bank, payment transactions and cash pooling, and use management instruments in a targeted and appropriate manner. Project and process responsibility: You are responsible for the strategic orientation of the department, driving digitization processes ahead and developing a controlling system for the areas of debt management and recovery. In addition, you are responsible for the project “Stadtkasse der Zukunft” with which you will significantly advance the development of the cash register. Legal and representative tasks: You will use your well-founded legal knowledge to solve complex basic questions, to examine and optimise rules in cash and invoicing, and to actively develop the New Local Budget Law (NKHR). In the course of your tasks, you will have a special look at the municipal fund regulation. You shall draw up opinions on local and supranational audits and represent the City Fund in various supranational working communities.

Qualification: You have the ability to provide higher non-technical administrative services or an equivalent academic degree (master/university) in the field of administrative or economic sciences or a comparable qualification. Alternatively, you have a completed university degree (Bachelor/University of Applied Sciences) in the areas mentioned or a comparable qualification, each with relevant professional experience and the willingness to continue qualification. Expertise: You have comprehensive and well-founded knowledge of the Baden-Württemberg Municipal Insurance Regulation and, thanks to your relevant experience, are confident in managing public funds. Competences: Their leadership style is cooperative, trustful and solution-oriented. As an experienced manager, you can take responsibility and act confidently in stressful situations. In addition to communication strength and personal commitment, you will be able to convince by decision-making, negotiation skills and a sovereign and competent appearance.
