As a transport system operator, supply security has the highest priority for us – today and in the future. With our approximately 3,000-kilometre gas network, we ensure safe supply with heat and electricity from Lower Saxony to Lake Constance. At the beginning of the study on 1 October 2026 we are looking for you as a student:in (m/w/d) for a dual study Accounting & Controlling (B. Sc.). About dual study The dual study takes place in cooperation with the DHBW Mannheim and lasts six semesters. During the dual study, the theoretical phases at the DHBW Mannheim and practical phases change in our company in the rhythm of three months. During your practical phases at terranets bw you will be working in our headquarters in Stuttgart.

This is what awaits you in the theoretical phases: The dual study of Accounting & Controlling (B. Sc.) is designed to cover both the entire accounting and future professional requirements. In addition to business principles, it also conveys in-depth knowledge in the fields of finance, taxes and controlling. In the profile modules, in particular, the accounting (national and international), controlling along the value chain, as well as tax and software related content are treated. The study is supplemented by basic economic modules such as marketing, finan­cing, VWL and business law. This is what awaits you in the practical phases: During your practice phases, theory becomes real use. You take responsibility from day one and apply your university knowledge directly in practice. You can look forward to this in the practical phases: The main focus is on the central financial functions and the accounting of terranets. You immerse yourself in the bilan­cation and experience the way in which the annual accounts are drawn – from plant accounting to the management of research (de­velopers) to the processing of liabilities (companies). Here you will experience the interaction of virtually all areas of activity. In the controlling you will get deeper insights and learn how business objectives are planned and controlled. In addition, you acquire sound know-how in cash management in order to ensure the accuracy of the company.
